You contribute to a business-critical application that, in addition to the distribution of track usage among carriers, also plans the equipment and personnel for NS trains.
As an Information Analyst, you are the functional basis on which the product owner and software development teams can rely.
You contribute to the complex application of both NS and ProRail, which organizes planning and operations on the track for 35 Dutch carriers.

Thousands of trains run daily on the Dutch railway network for passenger and freight transport. To manage this smoothly, we use Donna, our planning and allocation application. Donna is indispensable: without Donna, no trains run. And that makes you indispensable too.
As an Information Analyst, you are the expert on all interfaces to downstream systems that also use the planning data. Thanks to your analytical skills and proactive attitude, you are of decisive value in:
- Analyzing business and architectural objectives and translating them into work packages.
- Elaborating work packages into epics and stories.
- Drafting requirements and documentation in the form of use cases and interface specifications.
- Monitoring and improving the quality of specifications and the production process.
- Coordinating with business representatives.
- Coordinating with domain and information architects and with the product owner.
- Analyzing findings.
These are the job requirements
- At least HBO working and thinking level
- Experience in (substantively) complex domains and application landscapes, preferably in the rail or logistics sector
- Proven experience with UML, use cases, and interface specifications
- Experience with Scrum / Agile methods
- Experience as an Information Analyst
- You are open, proactive, and flexible
- Team player: can perform tasks independently without losing sight of the team and the end goal
- Constructively critical and open to other ideas
- Analytical and has abstract thinking ability
- Accurate, eye for detail
